Age of the Apocalypse
The world of Abaddon is a brutal place. When it’s cold, it’s frigid; when it’s hot, it’s scalding. Water is as often as not tainted; food is hard to find and harder still to produce, and anything you could potentially eat can just as potentially eat you. The heartbeat of this world is rapid, thready, and arrhythmic; its condition is, at best, critical.
But that time when the body is sick and broken and on the edge of death is when the greatest of its strength comes forth.
